How well we fit...

Dane and close friend Francine

What makes you a good coaching candidate:

  • Knowing clearly what you want to achieve in the form of a measurable goal is perhaps the most valuable asset you can bring to our work together. It is an art to see and synthesize a large field of possibility into one goal that if you accomplish it will bring you high levels of well being. Measurable results come quickly when you have clarity both about what you want and the price in time, money and energy you are willing to spend to create it.

  • I believe that once you accurately identify the one thing that will instantly and dramatically increase your well being the only sensitive thing to do is to really go for it! For most of us, human relationships, health, spiritual practice and meaningful work are top on the list to choose from. My approach is very much one of "do it now."

  • The more money, clarity, passion and time you are willing to invest the more rapidly you will achieve your goal. Some changes require a very large burst of energy up front to get off the ground, much like a plane that without enough throttle will never take off. I specialize in helping you achieve these goals because many of my own goals fall into this category. I currently spend $2,500.00 a month on seminars and one-on-one support from my well-being team and that is a comfortable fit for moving rapidly forward in my life. I tend to think that $1,000.00 is a good initial coaching budget to get you solidly moving towards your goal in addition to whatever hard-costs might be involved in actually manifesting your goal.

  • Being willing to do things differently and experiment is equally important. Some of the most valuable things I have learned have come not through "head knowledge" but by giving new things a try. For this reason my coaching is action-oriented and my view is "why not give it a try" rather than "prove that this will work." And an important part of this is being willing to look and be different when "different" is a quicker way to achieving your goal.

  • The people who have helped me the most have been more like friends and allies then professionals doing business. I want to offer you that same experience and that's one reason I'm offering a free initial half hour to find out if we fit well together. I'd like us both to look forward to seeing one another so that the natural intimacy between coach and client feels good, as well as delivering great results.

  • Finally, I'm more interested in results than adhering to a rigid structure. I bill by the minute within our agreed upon budget, and those minutes can be spent in person, on the phone and by e-mail in both regularly scheduled and spontaneous sessions. I can even give you a hand doing something that is particularly difficult for you to do alone until you build up your confidence. As you do the homework I give you (a lot of which is action-oriented to find what works for you) I want you to see me as an ally on your team to lean on as you need. Because this approach is so effective you may find that after an intense burst of work you are done in less than a month!

I invite you to schedule your complimentary half hour of coaching to explore how I can help you create your goal. Thank you for being someone who is willing to grow to increase your well-being.
